Mainly Spa: Incredibly disappointing experience. We expected a 5 star quality experience but the entire building and spa experience was at best a 1 star. While the staff were incredibly friendly it felt like the pool at a local gym or a cheap airport lounge. The building itself was outdated, carpets and furniture felt extremely old and unimpressive. Furniture was stained and plastic. It has an incredible location but feels like the inside is in disrepair and the owners have run out of money. Blue cables hanging from the ceiling of the pool, murky pond outside the pool, the layout of the spa had you walking through the pool to the changing room. We left early even though we paid for the day. To reiterate the staff were friendly and sweet and accommodating, this is a matter of management and experience design and an overall makeover. Small touches to elevate the spa experience: It really is in the details: After the treatment serving the glass on a saucer with a sprig of lavender, softer gowns with a lavender (or other) smell, revamp the relaxation room with flowers, using essential oils to infuse the room, asking the person what their essential oil "profile" is and creating an experience for the senses (orange citrus, lavender calming etc). While these are small details to try and improve (im sure more online), the entire hotel needs a makeover overall. It felt very outdated and cheap.

Stayed here for a night as part of my 2 year olds birthday trip to the zoo. The hotel is simply perfect, staff so lovely and helpful with every aspect of our stay, our room was an executive room spacious and comfy, food was ace we had room service dinner and sit down breakfast. The small touches like birthday balloons, card, chocolate, kids robe, soft cow toy and an evening service of milk and cookies really topped off our stay, will be booking again shortly to utilise the spa facilities this time! Had a good meal here at short notice and enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and their desire to look after us. Interesting menu and starters were lovely. Main courses looked and sounded lovely, but expectations having been set, didn't quite live up to them. A dose of salt helped, but we had the salmon and monkfish and expected more flavour and excellence.

Went for a spa day,including lunch. The bento box meal was delicious, and the staff were excellent. It was a very enjoyable day .

Stayed many times, rooms are big and lots of nice touches. But rooms are starting to show signs of wear & tear considering the price. Amazing spa. Didn't eat here, and left very early before breakfast.

Nice hotel and spa, food tasty, spa was great benefit.

Our family had the pleasure of enjoying our 2023 Boxing Day meal at Norton House, and it was completely perfect! The food was top notch delicious, and our entire party of 9 all enthusiastically agreed, including some famously picky eaters! The service was flawless, and all the staff were very warm, welcoming, and attentive. Thank you for treating us so well. While we didn't stay overnight, the glimpses of the interior and surroundings hinted at an equally impressive hotel experience. Highly recommend 👌

Spa day here, full body massage absolutely fantastic, clean inviting, customer service spot on, had the tea included yummy scrumptious cake scones would definitely be going back again

Beautiful property near the airport. Worth the short drive to the airport (10min) to stay in this quiet hotel with lovely rooms.
