Wow!! Amazing, atmos...

Wow!! Amazing, atmospheric, moving without being over dramatic, a very interesting history lesson, very modern, incredibly well designed with a huge range of interactive displays - loved it!!!

This museum is one of the best museums I've ever been to. You can easily spend here 8+ hours reading and watching information on the history of Jewish people. I'm highly recommending this place to visit if you are in Moscow.

An experience that t...

An experience that touched me deep inside. The movie in the beginning was really well made. Lots of interesting short documentaries were playing in the museum, which were touching and highly informative. Timelines of Jewish history in Russia, compared with the history of Russia and the world, was fascinating. Some of the "posters" had english translations and the short documentaries alsl had english subtitles. Some of the information was hard to grasp with my level of Russian vocabulary, but google translate helps tremendously. The temporary avant garde art exhibition was not quite my cup of tea. The cafe inside had some snacks and drinks at a low price. The waitresses were quite pretty as well.

Superbly designed an...

Superbly designed and organised. Small area but so well built that it takes long to go through all of it. Theres massive screen for movie about the war. Lots of details. The museum is very advanced with technology. Little cafe at entrance and a 4D cinema experience included. Very much recommended. Prices are ok.

A modern, very didac...

A modern, very didactic and entertaining museum. Every detail is taken care of and they make use of technology very intelligently. The information it offers is exceptional and its interactive exhibits are very attractive. The only negative point was one of the girls at the information desk (the first point of contact with the visitor) that paradoxically showed a great intolerance towards us because we do not speak Russian and since her English was very bad, she was unable to explain us how to connect to WiFi. She almost took the phone off from my hands to do it herself and finally, she couldn't. Even her partner felt ashamed of her attitude. The museum should choose its staff better.

Not so easy to find,...

Not so easy to find, but nice museum. Record the Jewish history in Russia and to memorize the history. Also talks about the current situation of the Jewish in Russia. Atmosphere is great and the museum is informative. Souvenir is a little bit expensive.

This was a really superb museum. Very different from some of the other Jewish museums I have been to. Interactive, modern, a great multimedia display to start with. Fascinating and very moving history and contextualising Jewish life in the wider Russian historical context. Very educational and respectful to both Jews and non-Jews.

The museum itself is well-organized seeing that there are few exhibitions and master classes in the kids center. Security procedures are tough, so if you are a visitor, you will be checked numerous times.

Very informative mod...

Very informative modern museum with a lot of interactive expositions. Covers many important events and periods of jewish history. Museum often hosts lectures and seminars. Has a great kosher restaurant on site.

This is a fantastic museum with tons of exhibits and a number of fascinating temporary expositions. There is a nice Cafe and a gift shop too. Beware of parking problems, getting a cab is the best option
